In the initial fit configuration using EasyGuard Vented coupling and a medium-power receiver, the Phonak Audéo EON Sphere achieved a normalized Initial Score of 5.0/5. Speech-in-quiet measured 4.0/5 while speech-in-noise scored 3.7/5. Music streaming performed particularly well at 4.1/5. Feedback handling was excellent at 4.6/5, and own-voice comfort measured 2.8/5. This out-of-box performance indicates strong sound quality with minimal setup effort.
After professional tuning with the same EasyGuard Vented coupling and medium-power receiver, the normalized Tuned Score improved to 5.3/5—a 0.3-point gain over the initial fit. Speech-in-quiet increased to 4.3/5 and speech-in-noise improved substantially to 4.5/5. Feedback handling remained excellent at 4.6/5, and own-voice stayed at 2.8/5. Music streaming decreased slightly to 3.7/5. The tuning primarily benefited speech clarity metrics.
