In initial fit testing with a power dome and standard receiver using the manufacturer's proprietary default formula, the Fortell AI achieved a normalized Initial Score of 6.1/5. Speech in noise was exceptional at 6.4/5, with speech in quiet also excellent at 5.4/5. Feedback handling scored a perfect 5.0/5. Music streaming was strong at 4.2/5. The primary weakness was own-voice comfort at 1.5/5, a low absolute score indicating notable occlusion effects despite the power dome coupling.

Tuned fit observations

Professional tuning maintained the power dome coupling and standard receiver configuration, resulting in a normalized Tuned Score of 5.7/5—a decrease of 0.4 points from initial fit. Speech in noise remained excellent at 6.0/5, while speech in quiet adjusted to 4.6/5. Feedback handling stayed strong at 4.8/5.
