Initial fit observations

In initial fit testing with closed domes and a medium-power receiver, the Beyond Pro achieved a normalized score of 4.2/5. Speech in quiet measured 3.3/5, which is 0.46 points above the OTC category average. Speech in noise scored 2.5/5—above average by 1.00 points but mixed in absolute terms. Music streaming performed well at 3.8/5, significantly exceeding the category average. Feedback handling was excellent at 5.0/5. Own-voice comfort was the weak point at 1.2/5, falling 1.31 points below average.

Tuned fit observations

The tuned fit configuration maintained the same closed dome coupling and medium-power receiver as the initial fit. All component scores remained identical, resulting in no change to the normalized score of 4.2/5. This indicates the proprietary manufacturer default settings were already optimized for our test conditions, with no additional gains achieved through further adjustment. The same strengths in streaming and feedback handling, and the same limitation in own-voice comfort, persisted.
