In its initial out-of-box configuration with closed vented domes, the Audien Atom X achieves a normalized Initial Score of 3.3/5. Speech performance is limited, with speech in quiet at 1.5/5 and speech in noise at 1.0/5—both below category averages. The device excels in feedback handling with a perfect 5.0/5 score and delivers solid music streaming at 3.3/5. Own-voice comfort is mixed at 2.3/5. The proprietary fitting formula provides consistent but modest amplification for speech frequencies.

Tuned fit observations

The Tuned Fit evaluation maintains identical performance to the Initial Fit, with a normalized Tuned Score of 3.3/5. The same closed vented dome coupling was retained as no configuration changes improved results.
